Trust>Clarity

1 Corinthians 13:12 CEB

“Now we see a reflection in a mirror; then we will see fact to face. Now I know partially, but then I will know completely in the same way that I have been completely know. Now faith, hope and love reamin, these three things, and the greatest of these is love.”

So many things can make the way foggy or unclear. Thinking literally, here are a few:

_actual fog

_dirty or scratched sunglass lenses

_rainy windshield

Less literal clarity blockers:

_other people’s opinions

_too much noise (turn the radio down to concentrate driving? IYKYK)

_comparison

_too many options

_transitions and changing seasons

_old stories

It’s uncomfortable not having a clear path. Too much unknown and outside of my control. The thoughts continue to spin, body becomes tense and tired. Now what?

RETURN.

The discomfort is an invitation.

Breathe.

Return to God’s Word for you.

Trust.

“Be patient towards all that is unresolved in your heart and to try to love the questions themselves like locked rooms, like books written in a foreign tongue. Do not now strive to uncover answers: they cannot be given you because you have not been able to live them. And what matters is to live everything. LIVE THE QUESTIONS FOR NOW. Perhaps then you will gradually, without noticing it, live your way into the answer.” _Rainer Maria Rilke
